The property is part of the Triboro Ecodistrict, a partnership among the boroughs of Etna, Millvale and Sharpsburg. The coalition, backed by each borough’s economic development organization and a $2.3M grant from the Henry L. Hillman Foundation, aims to implement sustainable practices in air and water quality, energy use, food availability, mobility and social equity.
